2021 Arbois Trousseau, Domaine Rolet, Jura, France

A concentrated wine from Jura, with aromas of fresh red fruits, most distinctively cherries and raspberries. Slightly peppery with a medium-full body, integrated tannins and a touch of chocolate.

Susan Harper profile

Susan Harper

Co-owner

It was in a Fulham wine shop at 22 with a manager recounting stories about wine that captured Susan’s imagination, it’s fitting that now she is back in Fulham sharing 30 years of her experiences in the world of wine, spanning a career full of inspirational winemakers, working in all the wine sales channels & becoming a board director for two wine companies. Believing that the younger generation returning to their roots is giving the wine world a fresh exciting new perspective.

Mhairi Fairbairn profile

Mhairi Fairbairn

Wine Buyer

Mhairi’s first job was at a café in a Harley Davidson showroom when she was 16, which we think is pretty cool. With over 10 years of experience in hospitality, Mhairi has worked in cocktail bars, 5 star hotels and as a Sommelier in fine dining. Mhairi and Susan met on a plane during a trip to Tuscany, shared the same philosophy on wine and the rest is history! Oh, and in case you were wondering, it’s “Mar-ee”.

Georgia Rudder profile

Georgia Rudder

Marketing & Events Co-Ordinator

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Georgia worked her first Hospitality job in a restaurant in Beverly Hills (yes, there’s one in Sydney) where she was introduced to the world of wine by her boss.  Whilst studying at university, she volunteered for Generation Entrepreneur, a non-for-profit organisation in their community engagement team. After completing her degree in Communication Design she worked for 3 years in Digital Media at the International Convention Centre Sydney, developing her understanding of digital media and marketing in the events industry. Now living in London, she stumbled upon Soil & Vine by pure coincidence, instantly knowing after meeting Susan and Will that Soil & Vine was the place for her.  She loves the community that Soil & Vine has fortified, and that everyone has such a passion for making everyone’s experience at Soil & Vine one to remember.
